Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) School of Graduate Education, Department of Biology, PhD student İlke KARAKAŞ and MSc Fatma Selin BASKIN, within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Turkish Patent and Trademark Organization, International Federation of Inventors' Association (IFIA), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), European Patent Office (EPO) and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, 6th  ISIF'21 International Invention Fair on 21-26 September 2021. They were awarded a gold medal by the international jury for their "WOUND REPAIRING BIOBAND" study.
