In order to raise awareness among university students about patents, which is one of the most important tools of global competition, to encourage students for inventions and to increase their knowledge and experience about its use as a strategic tool, Republic of Turkey "Patent Turkey-3rd Universities Patent Competition" is held by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

Students can participate in the competition by making a free patent application from the e-Devlet until December 15, 2021 at www.turkpatent.gov.tr ​​or patentleturkiye.turkpatent.gov.tr.

Patent applications of university students will be evaluated by the jury. The winner of the competition will be awarded 30,000 TL, the second 20,000 TL, the third 10,000 TL, the fourth and fifth place 7,500 TL and the sixth to tenth students 5,000 TL each. In addition, the participation of the students who are ranked in the competition in the invention fairs will be supported.
